Pick The Red, lead by Loïck, is the melancholic rock project of a lifelong musician whose sound bridges raw vulnerability and fierce intensity. Drawing on influences like Red Hot Chili Peppers, Linkin Park, Jimi Hendrix, and Twenty One Pilots, his music blends guitar riffs, acoustic textures, and electric dynamics to carve out a space between fragility and defiance.
Music has been a part of his life since childhood, when he started playing guitar at age 10. Over the years, he shared the stage with his brother Damien in various bands, building a deep and instinctive musical connection. But as life pulled them into different paths — careers, obligations, other pursuits — music took a back seat.
Years later, the dream refused to fade. The urgency to create returned, louder than ever. With the support of close friends and family, he was gifted the chance to bring it all back: a full studio recording to finally launch his own project. The result is Pick The Red — a raw and intimate journey through sound, emotion, and personal truth.
His debut single “Darkness” marks the first step in that rebirth — a stripped, honest piece that sets the tone for everything to come.
